Finding success in real estate is all about understanding your client’s housing needs and finding a solution that best serves them. In other words, providing excellent customer service is essential in order to become a successful real estate agent in Atlanta.
So, how can you show your clients that you genuinely care about their needs? How can you help them understand that you put their interests first?
Well, there are a few tips that me and my real estate agents at Platinum Real Estate follow to provide superior-quality services to our customers. For your benefit, I have listed them here.
1. Be Responsive
This is important. Right from your first interaction with the customer to the closing of a real estate transaction, it is critical that you promptly respond to every single email, phone call, or text message sent by your customer. This shows that you are a client-focused real estate agent who’s dedicated to provide them a real estate solution that suits their needs and budget.
2. Listen
In real estate, the one-size-fits-all approach does not work. Instead, to advance your real estate career and achieve your sales and revenue targets, you must adopt a personalized approach for each client. Listen to their needs, understand their housing objectives, and then devise a solution around them. This will help you gain a better understanding of the client’s expectations and make them feel that you value their opinion.
3. Ask Questions
Asking question is an important indicator that you are committed to provide top-notch real estate services to your customers. This is particularly important when you are getting acquainted with the customer. Asking questions will not only help you gather all the information you need to conduct home search, but will also encourage your customers to share their concerns with you.
4. Tell Them the Truth
A lasting relationship is always based on trust and honesty. Therefore, if you are unable to find a suitable home for your customer or if you think that you will not be able to sell their home at their desired price, tell them the truth. Don’t waste a lot of time because this may result in disgruntled customers and may damage your Atlanta real estate career.
5. Stay in Touch
Contrary to other professions, a real estate agent’s relationship with a customer does not end when the deal has been closed. Instead, your customers can prove to be an excellent source of referrals. Therefore, you should stay in touch with them. Send them greeting cards on holidays or make a call to ask them if they are happy with the purchase.
These are a few tips that you can use to keep your customers happy. If you are interested in learning more, you may invest in the books I have written for both new and experienced real estate agents.
